MBG workouts are challenging but all of our classes are tailored for every individual, beginners to advanced. We meet you exactly where you are at regardless of your current fitness level.

Monkey Bar Gym Woodbury is a class based gym, training with others creates a sense of community, helps to motivate you and keeps you on track with your fitness goals.  We train naturally, without machines.  We train without shoes, without mirrors, and most importantly, without egos.

 

What IS Functional Fitness?

Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports. It helps you to build the strength you need in daily life to optimize performance and avoid injury. It is real-life activity, in real-life positions  – something simply lifting a certain amount of weight on a machine cannot offer. At Monkey Bar Gymnasium we incorporate natural training, nutrition, and restoration to create the most functional, holistic approach to fitness in the industry.
